01 Key Presentation Objectives

The presentation by Arthur Ibukunoluwa Arokhamoni (Co-PI) addressed how climate change and archaic management practices have limited Nigeria's livestock productivity. The proposed solutions include:

  • Onboarding Software: Cloud-based registration for herd owners and herders.
  • Multi-Sensor Trackers: Miniaturized hardware to monitor daily distance, speed, water intake, and fodder intake.
  • Geofencing: Virtual mapping of grazing and watering coordinates to allow authorities to recover rustled livestock.
